Our story

Built by someone who
lived the problem.

Enroll & Co. didn't start with a business plan. It started with a waitlist that wouldn't fill — and a realization that the childcare industry had been underserved by marketers who didn't understand it.

She didn't set out to start
a marketing agency.

Chris Morales spent the first decade of her career in childcare — not marketing. She managed enrollment at a mid-sized daycare chain in Houston, then served as director of operations for a Montessori school network that grew from two locations to six during her tenure. She knows what a licensing inspection feels like. She knows the Sunday-night anxiety of a roster that's thirty families short of breakeven. She knows what it feels like to pour everything into a program that parents never find.

In 2016, the Montessori network Chris was leading hired a digital marketing agency to accelerate enrollment. The agency had strong credentials — it simply had no experience with childcare. The website they redesigned was beautiful. It was also impossible to navigate on a phone. The SEO strategy targeted keywords childcare parents don't actually use. The Google Ads campaign sent paid traffic to a homepage with no enrollment form above the fold.

After eight months and $40,000 in fees, the network's inquiry volume had not meaningfully improved. Chris began studying digital marketing directly — applying what she learned to the network's digital presence herself. Within four months, organic inquiry volume doubled.

That's when it became clear: the problem wasn't marketing. It was that nobody building marketing strategies for childcare centers actually understood what drives an enrollment decision from the inside.

"I kept hearing the same thing from directors — 'we tried marketing but it didn't work.' What they meant was: they hired someone who didn't understand their industry, and that person made reasonable decisions that happened to be completely wrong for childcare."
Chris Morales — Chris Morales, Founder & CEO

Chris left the Montessori network in 2018 and spent the following years building what she wished had existed — a marketing agency that started with the childcare enrollment decision process and worked backwards to strategy, not the other way around.

Enroll & Co. is new as an agency. What is not new is the knowledge base behind it: twelve years of studying why parents choose one childcare center over another, what language they search in, what trust signals convert a tour visitor into an enrolled family, and what digital failures cost enrollment even when the program itself is exceptional.

We are not bringing a generalist playbook to a specialized industry. We are bringing specialized industry knowledge to every marketing decision we make — from keyword selection to landing page architecture to the specific schema markup that tells Google exactly what kind of organization a childcare center is.

The journey

From classroom to every classroom.

07
2007 — Houston, TX

First day as enrollment coordinator

Chris joins a 3-location daycare chain as enrollment coordinator at 24, responsible for filling 180 spots across three centers. Learns firsthand that the parents choosing childcare are not responding to advertising — they're responding to trust signals, proximity, and word-of-mouth.

12
2012 — Joins Montessori Network

Operations director — 2 locations to 6

Takes the operations director role at a growing Montessori school network. Oversees four new location openings, develops the enrollment systems that bring two locations to waitlist status within 18 months, and begins documenting what actually drives childcare enrollment decisions.

16
2016 — The Turning Point

$40,000 in agency fees. Shorter waitlist.

The network hires a well-regarded digital marketing agency. Eight months later, ad spend is exhausted, the website has been redesigned, and enrollment is down. Chris begins independently learning SEO, conversion optimization, and content strategy — applying them to the network's digital presence with immediate results.

18
2018 — Enroll & Co. Founded

The agency childcare deserved

Chris leaves the Montessori network and founds Enroll & Co. with a single conviction: childcare marketing done correctly starts with the parent decision journey and works backwards to strategy. First three clients are former industry colleagues. All three reach waitlist status within 14 months.

Now
Today — Enroll & Co. is open

The agency childcare has been waiting for.

Enroll & Co. launches with something most agencies take years to develop: a founder who has personally directed six childcare locations, managed enrollment across hundreds of families, and built marketing systems from inside the industry. We are new as an agency. We are not new to childcare. That distinction is the entire point.

What drives us

The principles behind
every strategy we build.

Children are the actual client

Every center we serve exists because it provides care and education to children. That reality is not separate from marketing — it is the reason marketing for childcare must be different from marketing for any other business category.

Enrollment evidence, not assumptions

We do not assume what parents want. We study the actual language they use, the actual pages they visit before submitting an inquiry, and the actual factors that convert tour visitors into enrolled families — then build strategy from that evidence.

Waitlist, not traffic

We do not measure success in impressions, clicks, or followers. We measure it in enrolled families. Every strategy, every piece of content, every dollar of ad spend is evaluated against a single question: did this fill a seat?

Vertical depth, not breadth

We work exclusively with childcare centers. Not restaurants, not plumbers, not e-commerce brands. This exclusivity produces knowledge depth that a generalist agency cannot acquire — and that knowledge shows in the specificity of every content piece, schema implementation, and local SEO decision we make.

Directors are the expert

We are the marketing experts. The directors who hire us are the childcare experts. The best results come from a genuine collaboration — where the director's deep knowledge of their families, community, and program is combined with our knowledge of how to make that expertise visible and credible to the parents searching for it.

Transparency in everything

We explain what we're doing and why — in language that a childcare director understands, not marketing jargon. If a strategy we're executing isn't producing enrollment results, we say so first. Our clients should always know more about their marketing performance than we do.

Leadership

The person behind
every strategy.

Founder & CEO — Enroll & Co.

Chris Morales built her career inside the childcare industry — not in an agency. She spent twelve years working as an enrollment coordinator and director of operations, opening new locations, building the enrollment systems that kept centers financially stable, and sitting across the table from the anxious parents whose trust every childcare director works to earn every single day.

Enroll & Co. is new as an agency. The knowledge behind it is not. When Chris evaluates a childcare website's conversion architecture, she asks a question no generalist consultant can answer from the outside: what does a parent who just dropped her 18-month-old off for the first time need to see on this page to feel confident enough to book a tour? That question has a specific answer. Chris knows it because she answered it for real families across six locations over a decade.

We started Enroll & Co. because the gap between what childcare centers need from marketing and what marketing agencies typically deliver is too large to ignore — and too damaging to the great programs that parents never find because their digital presence doesn't reflect the quality of their actual care.
